Recipes for Connection
Art for Social & Emotional Learning
What We Do
At Recipes for Connection we are "cooking up" art-based social and emotional strategies to support student mental health, strengthen relationships and create positive school communities. We offer art-based social and emotional strategies through professional development, experiential training, curriculum materials, workshops, and individualized consultation.
Our Mission
Recipes for Connection is based on a belief that engagement in the creative process can increase access to positive mental health skills. We strive to provide teachers, students, and families with services and products that are evidence-based, inclusive, engaging and where individuals of all backgrounds can explore self-identity, deepen relationships, and develop life-long positive coping skills via visual art.
What you can expect…
Starting with a free introductory consultation, we will work to understand the social emotional needs you are hoping to strengthen in your community. From here our team will recommend professional developments, curriculums, and/or community events that address those needs through arts-based methods. Our services at Recipes for Connection are evidenced-based, experiential, therapeutic, and fun! Check out what’s on the Menu and see what’s right for your community!
